Amal, Customer Advocate
It was some months ago that I was appointed to a new position in our company which we call "Customer Advocate". My first reaction was what does is it mean? How to translate it? in Arabic? in French? Or even in clear and concrete language? How to explain to my parents, my friends (and even sometimes to our customers) my exact role? I have learned that the answer is simple. I have only one responsibility, to assure the satisfaction of our customers. It is important that they can speak to us frankly and - and that someone be there to listen to them. I AM THIS SOMEONE. What ever the issue is, I move in to facilitate the things and find a solution. Not the easiest job at MTDS, but it is what I do best.
